Once a job is posted using Recruiting Posting, administrators have several actions available in the Manage Jobs section to further manage the job posting.

Remove the Posting from All Job Boards (Option A):

This action allows users to remove the job posting from all job boards where it was posted through Recruiting Posting. This feature is useful if a position needs to be closed or withdrawn before the posting expires.

Post the Job to Additional Job Boards (Option B):

After the initial posting, users can choose to post the job to additional job boards directly from the Manage Jobs interface, broadening the reach of the job posting as needed.

The list of available job boards for Recruiting Posting can be found in two primary locations:

Job Board Market Place (Option C):This feature within Recruiting Posting allows users to view, select, and manage job boards available for posting.

Job Board Catalogue on SAP Jams and Communities (Option D):SAP Jams and Communities provide a comprehensive catalogue of job boards available through Recruiting Posting, along with detailed descriptions.

To ensure that the Requisition Status field updates automatically after a job requisition completes the approval process, the default status settings for approved requisitions must be configured in Manage Recruiting Settings.

Steps to Configure:

Go to Admin Center > Manage Recruiting Settings.

Set the default status for requisitions upon creation and approval to ensure the Requisition Status field reflects the correct status automatically after the approval process.

Before a Recruiting Posting job posting can begin, certain prerequisites must be in place to ensure that the user has the necessary configuration and access:

Posting Profile Association (Option A):

The Recruiting user must have at least one posting profile associated with them. Posting profiles define job board configurations and access rights, linking the user to specific posting options.

Job Board Configuration Validation (Option C):

Each job board used in Recruiting Posting requires proper configuration, including access credentials and other necessary data, to allow successful job posting.

Manage Recruiting Posting Permission (Option E):

The Manage Recruiting Posting permission must be enabled for the user, allowing them to initiate and manage job postings across job boards.

A job board credit in SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Posting is a unit or token used to pay a job board for posting a job. Many job boards operate on a credit system where each job posting requires one or more credits for the job to be posted publicly.

Job Board Credit Usage:

When an organization posts a job to an external job board, Recruiting Posting deducts the required number of credits from the organization’s account with that job board. This allows the job board to complete and publish the job posting.

In SAP SuccessFactors, recruiting groups are managed by users who hold the necessary administrative permissions. This ensures that individuals with relevant access can modify recruiting groups, which control user permissions for recruiting actions and processes.

Administrative Permissions Requirement:

Users with administrative permissions can access and edit existing recruiting groups, making adjustments to membership or permissions as necessary for recruiting functions.

The Offer object is not configured in the Job Requisition template as it is managed through the Offer Details template, a separate template for managing candidate offers once they reach the offer stage.

Configurable Objects in Job Requisition Template:

Position, Location, Division, and Type are standard objects that can be configured within the Job Requisition template. These fields help define the job’s details and organizational structure.

Separate Configuration for Offer:

Offer-related fields and settings are configured in the Offer Details template, not in the Job Requisition template.

When defining field attribute overrides in the Application XML, certain attributes determine which overrides will trigger. These include:

Country of the Job (Option B):The location of the job posting is a common condition for overrides, especially for compliance with country-specific regulations.

Applicant Type (Option D):Overrides can be based on the applicant type (e.g., internal or external candidate), as different application processes may apply to different applicant types.

In SAP SuccessFactors, only two Candidate Profile Templates can be configured per instance: one template for internal candidates and one for external candidates. This setup ensures that both internal and external candidates have tailored profiles with relevant fields based on their unique needs.

Configuration Details:

Internal and external candidate profiles are configured separately to cater to different recruiting processes and visibility requirements.

This configuration is done through the Candidate Profile Template XML in Provisioning or Admin Center.

The Job Requisition template in SAP SuccessFactors allows configuration of various buttons that control actions users can take on job requisitions. Each button provides functionality that can be managed or restricted based on role permissions.

Reopen Job Requisition (Option A):

This button allows users to reopen a requisition that was previously closed. Access is configured in the Job Requisition template.

Link Child Requisition (Option C):

This button enables users to link a requisition to a related or dependent requisition, often used in cases of large hiring initiatives.

Close Job Requisition (Option E):

The Close Job Requisition button is configured to allow the closure of open requisitions, typically by recruiters or administrators based on permissions.
